Why I Started Sable Press
I started Sable Press because I want to be part of the solution that pushes back against institutional racism in book publishing. There are many stories written by authors of color that are rejected because the story is about a non white group of people, explores a non white culture or is written by a non white person.
Art is life and if we continue to deny the art of non white people, humanity as a whole loses.
